ZIMA sings on “Naša baština”, a show on Montenegro’s national television 📺
🎶❄️ Choir “Zima” was invited by Montenegro’s national television to film the show “Naša baština” (📺 “Our Heritage”). The filming took place in Podgorica yesterday, October 11, at 11:00, and it was an incredible experience for us! Here’s a link to the show’s page: rtcg.me/tv/emisije/zabavni/nasabastina.html.
We performed four pieces: «Još je svijeće rujna zora», IX Rukovet, «Devojko mala», and «Svete Tihij».
Our first television experience 🎥
It was our first time in a TV studio, and honestly, it was a little nerve-wracking. The studio was cool, but the warm welcome from host Dragana — and from all the other guests on the show: musicians, artists, historians, and agronomists — warmed our hearts. They all shared their stories and projects, talking about how they preserve and develop Montenegrin heritage.
We also did our part, performing our favorite songs, and were glad to see that our music moved everyone present. After the performance, Dragana said she looks forward to seeing us again with new songs in just two months — a wonderful invitation, and we’re happy to accept it!
Plans for the future and an invitation to join
Varvara Loyko, our artistic director, also spoke about our recent festival and concert performances over the past few months in cities such as Niš, Negotin, and Herceg Novi. She shared plans to create a new Christmas program and invited everyone interested to join the choir at a rehearsal.
