Our approach to music
Learning starts with singing together and developing an ear for music and a sense of rhythm. Alongside choir, students encounter solfège, music listening and instruments. Concerts give them a chance to share their music with an audience.
From the first notes to the stage
Four areas offer different paths into music: for younger children, school-age children, people who want to learn an instrument, and adults.
Preparatory programme
Learning music through play. Singing, movement, rhythm and an introduction to instruments form the basis of musical activities for younger children. The programme includes the Orff approach, pitch training and a first children’s choir.
Children’s choral studio
Choir and musical foundations. The group programme brings together choral singing, solfège and music listening.
Instrumental programme
An individual learning path. Instrumental lessons follow an individual learning path.
Evening programme for adults
For beginners and returning learners. The programme brings together choir, solfège and music literature with learning an instrument or singing.
Music on stage
ZIMA Choral Studio takes part in concerts and musical projects. Performing gives students a chance to share their music with an audience.
